Priyanka’s true regenerative journey started with Brahma Kumaris as she started facilitating farmers from different states, climate zones & cultures on spiritual principles of natural farming and permaculture. She felt that these principles were equally applicable in the garden and in our life – to create systems of self-reliance.
What followed was unexpected – she was invited to Kachchh to work with marginalized farmers where she encountered Global Kachchh – who proposed going from working with individual farmers to community & village-level regeneration. This led to the genesis of Golden Era Eco Services in February 2022 – to bring the dawn of peace, happiness, and abundance – a true Golden Era on our planet.
In the past one year, we have worked in 3 villages on different ecological, social & regenerative gardening projects. Villages now collectively approach us themselves and invite us to build their grasslands and work with their farmers. Working with these villages, we have realized that community regeneration can only happen through education & well-being of people. We believe that the root cause of all sufferings and crises is the lack or degeneration of moral values. Our vision for villages is grounded in soil, water, and biodiversity conversation along with green livelihood generation with regeneration strategies to make them self-reliant or Atma Nirbhar in the true sense. It is our conscious effort to co-create resilient communities around the world.
Going ahead, we are envisioning to turn this dryland into “Kachchhdo Nandanvan” – (meaning an abundant Garden of Eden) – by converting the spirals of erosion in society and soil into spirals of abundance with spirituality.
We presented the story of village transformation & regeneration; using ancient wisdom ON natural farming, spirituality, principles, and strategies from permaculture; to turn them into resilient and abundant communities.
We got the golden opportunity to participate in COY17 – an annual event under the banner of YOUNGO – The Official Youth Constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). We were invited to participate in this global forum which held space for having dialogues and activities on global challenges due to Climate Change.
COY17 was all about Interconnectedness of the Earth & subsequent need for taking collective action. With 2 focus elements of COY17 being ‘Skill Building Workshops’ & ‘Capacity Building’, LCOY was the best step to understand all aspects of climate change from global youth, CONNECT with them and contribute more towards sustainability. LCOY was attended by our founder, Priyanka, established her connection with the youth of the world & reinforced her commitment to restoring the earth together with love.
Our founder Priyanka won the Jal Prahari – ‘Water Warrior’ – Award 2023 given by Jal Shakti Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat at the Jal Prahari Samman Ceremony 2023 in the capital. An initiative of sarkaritel.com , the award was supported by Ministry of Jal Shakti, National Water Mission, National Jal Jeevan Mission with Knowledge Partners UNOPS and CEEW (Council for Energy, Environment and Water). We were awarded for working in the drylands for water conservation.
51 people from across 22 states were honored with the Jal Prahari Samman – each a sensation – carrying out phenomenal work tirelessly in their respective states. Priyanka was one of the youngest to receive this award – also amongst a growing number of Women Warriors.
